First Day at Service Stars!

It was a wonderful first day of Service Stars yesterday. It was so great to see all the returning Stars and delightful to welcome some new Stars too!

We helped students in Massachusetts who are affected by homelessness by making bookmarks, adding cool stickers to new notebooks, and coloring uplifting cards to be included in backpacks that School on Wheels distributes to kids in need.

Then our Stars enjoyed guessing supplies that might be useful to include in a donated backpack. Then we filled a backpack that we will donate to School on Wheels. School on Wheels donates over 10,000 backpacks each year to students in need in Massachusetts and our Red Stars were excited to contribute.

Some questions you could ask your students about Service Stars.

1) What does "Proud Space" mean at Service Stars?

2) What were two items we included in our backpack for School on Wheels?
